St. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature

The Believe Project inspires kids to read by using culturally responsive books, art, and technology in spaces where they are free to relax, explore, and with confidence be fiercely and fully themselves. The primary goal is to improve reading proficiency for all children in kindergarten through third grade. The resources, materials, and programs connected to The Believe Project are part of an intentional effort to achieve successful third grade readers.
